The Alugear Spider is engineered from high-grade aluminum and precision CNC-machined.
The Spider features pocketing that optimizes the balance between maximum stiffness and minimal weight, delivering efficient power transfer without compromising strength or reliability, and perfect alignment for modern high-performance drivetrains. Quality Manufacturing - proudly made in Poland.
Compatibility:
- The Alugear Spider for SRAM 8-Bolt Direct Mount Cranks. It provides a secure and precise connection between the crank arm and the chainring, ensuring maximum power transfer and drivetrain stiffness.
- Designed for use with SRAM 8-bolt direct mount cranks. Its primary use is with Road Cranks that have a removable direct mount 8-bolt chainring or spider, such as Alugear Vega Cranks
- Compatible with Alugear 1x and 2x chainrings featuring the 110 BCD 4-bolt Shimano Asymmetric Road, as well as with Shimano Ultegra FC-R8100 chainrings
- The Alugear Spider is not compatible with SRAM E1 series cranksets!

Recommendations:
- The Alugear Spider is mounted to the crank arm using 8 bolts. The recommended tightening torque for the spider mounting bolts is 4 Nm.
- Tool holder: T20 Torx
Mounting ALUGEAR chainrings:
- 1x and 2x chainrings can be installed using the Alugear Cover and Alugear Bolts and Nuts
- The recommended tightening torque for these bolts is not more than 10 Nm
- Use only original Alugear bolts, as bolts from other manufacturers may differ in length or thread pitch, which could lead to component damage
Mounting Shimano chainrings:
- Chainrings can be mounted using Alugear bolts or Shimano bolts
- In this case, the bolts thread directly into the Shimano chainring
- The recommended tightening torque is not more than 10 Nm
- Use a torque wrench for precise tightening
