In alpine terrain in particular, ropes are often exposed to sharp edges. That's why Edelrid has now equipped its tried-and-tested STARLING climbing rope with Protect technology for significantly increased cut resistance. With Protect ropes, the coat is reinforced with aramid fibers using a special processing method without impairing the dynamic properties of the rope.
