The breathable Care Plus® Bugsox Traveller is suitable for everyday use, light walks, city trips, and provides extra warmth in tropical areas. The socks are impregnated and protect your feet and ankles from bites and stings from insects and ticks. Always use a chlorine-free cleaner when washing and store the socks in a dark place. This prolongs the repellent effect of the (biodegradable) permethrin.
It has been scientifically proven that insects and ticks mainly bite the feet, ankles, and lower legs. Protect these areas with these very comfortable and insect-repellent socks. Wearing these Bugsox Traveller socks greatly reduces the risk of being bitten or stung!

Bugsox are comfortable, insect-repellent socks. These impregnated socks from Care Plus are treated with permethrin, which makes them insect- and tick-repellent. This makes the socks very durable and prevents them from smelling or discoloring. The insecticide on the socks is lethal to mosquitoes and other insects. Ticks cannot run or sit on them. Bugsox can prevent up to 90% of bites! Permethrin does not irritate the skin and is completely biodegradable.
Care Plus impregnated socks are made from bamboo viscose, which makes them odorless and keeps them fresh for longer. These socks are comfortable to wear in both high and low temperatures. Thanks to its moisture absorption and ventilation properties, bamboo stays cool in hot weather. In cold weather, the microstructure of bamboo viscose acts as a base layer and has a warming effect. Bugsox are seamless and offer a very high level of comfort, even with long-term use. Wear these insect-repellent socks on a short trip, during a short hike, or on a city break, and your feet, ankles, and lower legs will be protected against tick bites and insect stings. But the socks also offer optimal hygiene and a high level of comfort!
Bugsox Traveller by Care Plus are airy, insect-repellent socks for everyday use, short trips, and city breaks. These socks are also very comfortable to wear in warm and tropical climates. These fine, impregnated socks from Care Plus are available in navy, black, and gray. They can be machine washed up to 50 times at 30°C without losing their effectiveness. Use a chlorine-free detergent and store the socks in a dark place.
