Important information about Spike tires

• To ensure that the spikes remain secure, the tires should be run in for approx. 40 km on asphalt. Avoid heavy acceleration and braking.
• Spikes can be used on normal asphalt roads, but they cause running noise.
• Spikes are permitted on bikes up to 45 km/h.
• Schwalbe spikes have a core made of extremely wear-resistant tungsten carbide and last for several thousand kilometers.
• In deep snow, even spike tires reach their limits.
