KMC Flattop chains were specifically designed for modern 12-/13-speed drivetrains from SRAM and are characterized by their distinctive flat top. This design allows for a narrower chain. KMC Flattop chains are exclusively compatible with SRAM’s 12-/13-speed AXS drivetrains or Transmission/T-Type systems. They cannot be used with other 12-/13-speed systems or older SRAM groupsets.

EPT - Corrosion Protection Redefined

KMC’s non-toxic, eco-friendly “ EcoProTeQ-Technologie EPT ” protects chains from corrosion twice as long (the first signs of rust appear only after 650 hours of salt spray testing), setting new standards. Every component of a chain link is treated separately with EPT. This ensures 100% coating coverage, providing the lowest possible susceptibility to water, salt, and humidity.

Another feature of EPT: The very smooth surface gives the chains excellent running properties, minimizing dirt buildup over the long term, which significantly reduces the need for chain maintenance.
