Its carrying system sits firmly on your back with every movement – nothing wobbles back and forth when scrambling. The shoulder straps are adapted to the female anatomy, the back padding with ventilation channel and air-permeable AirMesh cover ensures pleasant air circulation, and the padded hip belt and adjustable chest strap secure the backpack perfectly.

Clever features for the via ferrata

You will be pleased to find gear loops on the hip belt and shoulder strap, as you can attach the carabiners from the via ferrata set there if you need to tackle passages without the set. And to prevent the hip belt and climbing harness from getting in each other’s way, you can also remove the hip belt. The Norix 24 Women also has a fastening option for your climbing helmet on the front.

Versatile storage options and additional access to the main compartment from the back

In addition to the main compartment, the Norix 24 Women features a lid compartment, an elasticated front pocket and elasticated side pockets to store your equipment. There are also gear loops on the front and elastic drawstrings on the lid and base. For optimum access to items that you have packed at the bottom of your backpack, you can pull it open completely with an all-round zipper on the back. This is also practical because you don’t have to put the carrying system on the (wet) ground – or on winter tours – in the snow. Last but not least, the Norix 24 Women has a hydration system preparation and a rain cover stowed in the bottom compartment. The backpack has a PFAS-free DWR finish.
