With the new LOUISE ELITE, MAGURA is making a strong statement in all-around braking performance. The goal: to make maximum braking power and modern technology accessible to the widest possible audience. The LOUISE ELITE is designed for discerning everyday riders as well as sporty (e-)mountain bikers, positioning itself as a powerful and reliable 4-piston brake with an excellent price-performance ratio.

Whether in city traffic or on demanding trails: The LOUISE ELITE offers uncompromising braking performance with high heat resistance and braking power. MAGURA relies on one-piece forged aluminum 4-piston calipers combined with 2.0 mm thick rotors. The rigid system converts every ounce of hand force into deceleration without compromise. Additionally, the one-piece caliper design is particularly resistant to leaks. 
MAGURA stands by its quality promise with the LOUISE ELITE as well: a 5-year leak-proof guarantee on the brake lever and caliper—beyond the statutory warranty.

Special attention was paid to the integration of modern safety and maintenance features. The LOUISE ELITE brake lever is fully compatible with Bosch eBike ABS systems (Modi: Touring, Touring, Trail) and, with its increased oil flow volume, provides the ideal technical foundation for precise ABS suspension response.

In addition, with the LOUISE ELITE, MAGURA is introducing the new EASY LINK technology for the first time in this price class—a tool-free, integrated brake hose connection that ensures up to 40% faster and cleaner installation. As a plug-and-play connection between the brake hose and brake lever, EASY LINK technology also impresses with significantly simplified maintenance.

The LOUISE ELITE also impresses in terms of ergonomics: The new Carbotecture brake lever offers optimal ergonomics for a wide variety of bikers and features a textured lever surface. MAGURA has also made several optimizations inside the brake lever: A larger master cylinder piston has optimized the brake’s pressure point compared to the MT5. The result is a distinctly firmer pressure point that conveys confidence and power even when stationary—without compromising modulation.
