Details of the Wilier ADLAR

Maximum load capacity of 35 kg

The Adlar is made for bikepacking, for explorers, for bike travelers. The carbon fiber frame structure has been reinforced to allow for a maximum additional load of 35 kg. This feature has been paired with new construction methods, a careful study of the geometries, and fully integrated cable routing.

Maximum versatility

The Adlar impresses with its exceptionally high adaptability and opens up a wide range of uses. Thanks to the generous tire clearance, both gravel tires up to 52mm and 29" tires up to 2.00" can be used. This makes the bicycle ideally suited for a wide variety of surfaces and applications. This design allows for the installation of a suspension fork with up to 40mm of travel without altering the bicycle’s overall geometry. This ensures balanced handling in every configuration. Additional functionality is provided by an integrated cable guide on the right steerer tube, which facilitates the use of a dynamo hub. Furthermore, the system is flexibly expandable. The standard seatpost can be replaced with a dropper post if desired.

A little different

The frame weighs 1100g and is available in five sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL. The geometries are derived from mountain bikes: the frame triangle runs horizontally, and the reach is very pronounced. These solutions allow for the use of a shorter stem, which works in conjunction with the open head angle (70°). A transformation that results in better handling and control on challenging trails with a fully loaded bike.
