With a rim height of 42 mm, the Strada 42 combines the lightness of shallower profiles with the aerodynamic advantages of a medium-height rim. This makes it particularly impressive on long rides and during fast accelerations. At the same time, its stable handling in crosswinds ensures precise control even at higher speeds.

The construction is based on the modern SLR5 manufacturing process, which is considered a further development of the proven SLS5 technology from the mountain bike sector. High-quality Toray T1100 carbon fibers, resin from aerospace engineering, and a particularly precise layup ensure a balanced combination of low weight, high stiffness, and reliable durability.

DRC technology provides additional comfort and efficiency. It improves vertical compliance, optimizes power transfer, and ensures a smoother, more stable ride on long distances. The molded spoke holes featuring SpokeCore technology ensure a uniform, durable rim structure.

The asymmetrical rim profile with staggered spoke holes improves spoke angles and ensures more even tension between both sides of the wheel. This noticeably increases lateral stiffness while simultaneously improving the durability and stability of the entire wheel.

With an inner width of 25 mm, the Strada 42 offers ideal tire volume, especially when paired with 30 mm tires. This allows for lower tire pressures, which improves grip and comfort without compromising efficiency.
