To ensure the trail-smoothing feeling they are known for remains consistent under the added weight of a full-power eMTB. Thicker gauge spokes pair with a front-specific 18.6mm deep rim, tuning lateral compliance and ensuring Era eMTB glues you to your line through the rough stuff - even on a big rig.
