About Race Face:
The among mountain bikers, enduro and downhill riders well known manufacturer with Canadian roots was founded by a group of die-hard mountain bikers who have been pursuing one goal for over 25 years: always developing innovative and really durable components.
Especially Gravity riders love to push themselves to the limit. This means that the stems, handlebars, seat posts, cranks, pedals and of course the wheels have to meet the highest demands in terms of reliability.
Since the previously available bike parts could not meet the requirements of the Race Face founders on the challenging North Shore trails, they decided to develop their own bike components.
Race Face lives by a simple rule: the rider and his needs come first. Before the high quality MTB parts, such as the Aeffect, Next or Turbine series, are released on the trail, they must withstand test rides by world-class riders of the Race Face Enduro Racing Team on some of the toughest terrain on the planet.
You may already be familiar with the popular Race Face Atlas flat pedals or the super strong Chester stem, but the product line-up of the fearless Canadians includes much more.
With a wide range of mountain bike components, gear, apparel and accessories for cross country, trail, all-mountain, gravity and even E-MTB, you'll be able to get the most out of your bike at any time.
The Race Face Atlas line stands out for its versatility and durable aluminium constructions. From durable riser handlebars to matching stems, high-grip flat pedals, a CINCH crank with Direct-Mount chainring and wide wheels, it offers everything a gravity rider's heart desires.
The Next SL series, on the other hand, is super light. The wheels and cranks designed for XC and trail set standards in terms of weight and fast acceleration thanks to the use of carbon.
A special technical highlight are the Race Face CINCH cranks. Their crank arms, which are elaborately machined from aluminium or molded from carbon, fit together almost seamlessly thanks to the two-piece design with integrated 30 mm hollow spindles. If required, there is even a crank spindle with integrated power meter available. The matching Race Face Narrow-Wide chainrings can also be quickly swapped in the race via the CINCH Direct Mount socket. According to Race Face, the DH approved SixC crank weighs only 525 grams with a 32 tooth chainring!
To ensure that you can concentrate on the track and its obstacles without worries, Race Face has developed sophisticated protectors with optimized fits for women, men and even children.
Thanks to D3O protection inserts, Kydex/TPO shells and mesh fabric on the back, the Roam knee pads meet the requirements of many trail and enduro touring riders: good pedaling and ventilation for uphills and effective protection on downhills.
You can also find protector shirts and trousers (long / short) as well as elbow pads and gloves in the Race Face Body Armor portfolio.
And what does the mountain bike rider wear over the protectors? Of course, Race Face cycling clothes, which are available in as many colors as the bike parts. The garments are specifically tailored to their application type, for example Ruxton shorts or pants for downhill and enduro, and Indy pants for all-mountain and trail. But you can also get jackets, socks, T-shirts, rainwear and accessories from Race Face.
They also offer stylish casual wear so that you can express your passion for mountain biking in everyday life.
On the trail you should at most break a sweat because of the high speed and the high jumps and still have your rainwear and equipment quickly at hand.
The stash hip bag features up to 3 liters of storage space for everything important and with the integrated hydration system you are perfectly equipped for afterwork rides and smaller tours.
The founders of Race Face love big jumps and high drops on playful single tracks. If a bike part doesn't significantly change the way you ride for the better, it doesn't deserve to wear the Race Face badge. Under strict quality control, RF creates stable, lightweight and durable wheelsets, rims, chainrings and more. The ARC, Atlas and Turbine lines are extremely versatile, so you don't have to limit yourself to certain trails or a particular riding style.
