The Super Record 2x12-speed groupset embodies the pinnacle of Campagnolo’s technological expertise and innovation. This groupset was designed for those who want to equip their bike with the very best that the renowned Italian brand has to offer in terms of performance and distinctive style. Improving upon something that is already considered a benchmark requires that not even the smallest detail be overlooked.
The individual components are extremely lightweight yet highly durable. These two aspects, in particular, make the Super Record a flagship of Campagnolo’s innovative capabilities; the technologies, materials, and craftsmanship used to manufacture the groupset elevate it to a class of its own.
Delivery does not include rechargeable battery, brake rotors, adapters, hubs, or bottom bracket cups. These can be ordered separately.
Please note that the Super Record EPS rear derailleur is compatible exclusively with the corresponding cassette in the 11-29 and 11-32 tooth ranges.
The Campagnolo Super Record EPS is the flagship of Campagnolo’s shifting systems thanks to the technologies, materials, and craftsmanship used to manufacture the groupset. Additionally, it now solidifies its role as the benchmark with the transition to the 12-speed system.
Campagnolo has paved the way with 8-, 9-, 10-, 11-, and most recently 12-speed shifting and has always been a pioneer in the development of shifting for road bikes. The recent introduction of the mechanical Super Record and Record drivetrains marked not only a new era in mechanical groupset technology but also laid the foundation for the electronic version of the Super Record EPS 12-speed groupset. The EPS technology was tested by athletes in real-world conditions, and before it hit the market, it passed the Campy Tech Lab’s testing phase—as always—in the world’s most demanding testing scenario: the World Tour.
The popular groupset is now available in a 12-speed version featuring the V4 versions of the electronic components and interface. The groupset has been redesigned to perfectly adapt to the new 12-speed technology and the 11-29 and 11-32 cassette combinations introduced in the mechanical version. Fast, consistently precise, and effortless shifting for the cyclist, combined with a very gradual gear ratio, are just some of the outstanding features of the new EPS groupset.
Campagnolo EPS, Electronic Power Shift, is a highly advanced electronic shifting system that, thanks to artificial intelligence (DTI / Digital Tech Intelligence), is capable of converting the cyclist’s shift lever movements into digital signals, processing them, and controlling the movement of the front derailleur.
The EPS system features electronics that are centralized rather than located within individual components. This digital intelligence, consisting of a Power Unit and an Interface, communicates with the components, from which it receives constant feedback and controls them. Centralized electronics mean greater system stability and reduced susceptibility to malfunctions and disruptions caused by crashes.
Should malfunctions occur in this high-tech system, the EPS system is capable of automatically detecting them. The On-Board Diagnostic system uses RGB LEDs to indicate, via color coding, where a malfunction is present.
With the Power L model, the Super Record carbon crank—designed for maximum performance—meets Stages’ high-resolution Gen 3 power meter technology. A strain gauge developed specifically for Campagnolo crankarms measures the cyclist’s wattage with maximum accuracy. Thanks to optimized signal strength, the pre-mounted sensor also ensures seamless data transmission via Bluetooth and ANT+ and integrates seamlessly into the elegant design of the 2x12-speed crankset with a minimal weight increase of just 15 grams.
Maximum innovation for ultimate stiffness and shifting precision
The Campagnolo Super Record 2x12-speed carbon crankset, whose weight has been reduced using "Hollow Technology," utilizes the Ultra Torque locking system with a titanium spindle for loss-free power transfer. The crank can be mounted on all frame models, both with disc and rim brakes, as it optimizes the chainline on frames with rear installation widths of 130, 135, or 142 mm without compromising the Q-factor.
The use of CULT ceramic ball bearings ensures the smoothness typical of Campagnolo. The innovative shape of the outer chainring and the contoured pin guarantee fast and quiet shifting. Additionally, the symmetrical tooth profile on the inner chainring improves stability during chain crossing.
Weight has been reduced through the increased use of carbon fiber on the crankarms with a dual standard bolt pattern (112 and 145 mm). The chainrings are secured with eight screws, which increase the component’s stiffness.
The different number of pins for each of the three configurations (50/34, 52/36, and 53/39 teeth) optimizes their engagement and thus makes shifting up easier. Furthermore, the relief on the outer chainrings simplifies shifting down in the dead zones of the pedaling motion, thereby improving performance.
