Restrap Switch Thru Axle - 12 x 225mm - M12x1.0mm

The thru axles are designed for use with the Restrap Switch Rack. With additional axles, you can quickly switch the Switch Rack between different bikes. 

Which axle do you need?

All Switch Racks come with an axle. This is intended to replace your existing axle. It is compatible with 142 mm and 148 mm (Boost) installation widths and comes with spacers to adjust the fit. It is essential to use the correct thread pitch for your frame.
To determine the correct thread pitch, remove your current axle. On many axles, the thread pitch is marked directly on the axle. It is either 1 mm, 1.5 mm, or 1.75 mm. If it is not marked on the axle, you will need a ruler. Count ten threads from the end of the axle and measure the distance. If it is 1 cm, you have a thread pitch of 1 mm. 1.5 cm = 1.5 mm thread pitch, 1.75 cm = 1.75 mm.

Installing the Switch Axle:

Remove your bike’s current thru axle and install the Restrap Switch thru axle using an Allen wrench. Use as many 3-mm washers as necessary to center the upper stay above the rear wheel. Use the included tapered axle adapter for compatible frames.
