With the ULTRA SL 35C, ax-lightness sets new standards in high-end wheel building with extreme lightness for road use. Building on decades of experience in carbon manufacturing, the ULTRA series has been consistently refined and optimized for maximum performance. The in-house ULTRA components incorporate the combined expertise from all ax-lightness manufacturing sectors (cycling, automotive, skiing, etc.)—united in a highly integrated lightweight design system without compromise.

The ULTRA SL 35C combines aerodynamic efficiency with extreme lightweight design: 888 grams total weight (including tubeless rim tape, ±5%) with a maximum system weight of up to 110 kg. This is in a class of its own in the aero segment. The 35 mm profile with a bulging rim shape provides noticeable improvements in aerodynamics and smooth handling even in crosswinds, while the 24 mm inner rim width and 30 mm outer width guarantee optimal tire support and harmonious rolling behavior.

Both the front and rear wheels feature 20 carbon blade spokes in the ultra-light T32 version. The double-crossed pattern ensures even load distribution, high lateral and torsional stiffness, and a direct, powerful riding feel during sprints and climbs.

The in-house ax-lightness ULTRA Disc hubs with ratchet freewheel and ceramic bearings ensure minimal rolling resistance and maximum durability. The paint-free UD-Glossy finish with subtle decals saves additional weight and makes a bold visual statement.
