ax-lightness Aero-R 50CX – lightweight, with excellent aerodynamics and durability, offering excellent value for money.

The Aero-R50 CX wheelset combines features that were previously considered unattainable in this price range. With a weight of just 1,370g, a 50mm rim height, and a wide 24mm internal width, it’s a true all-rounder - whether on asphalt, gravel, or cyclocross.

Experience gained from the ULTRA and SELECTION series by ax-lightness, combined with a refined manufacturing process featuring fiber optimization, ensures a significant boost in efficiency and stiffness.

The rims are designed as clinchers with hooks and are fully tubeless ready. The matte black UD finish with black laser-etched decals gives the set the visual look of the current ULTRA series.

For maximum reliability, the rear hub features durable enduro bearings and the proven ratchet freewheel system. This is complemented by Sapim CX-Sprint spokes, which deliver high stability, lateral stiffness, and excellent aerodynamics - whether in fast race conditions or on demanding gravel trails.

With a maximum system weight of 130 kg, it is also ideal for heavier riders and demonstrates excellent bikepacking suitability.
