Once there, it masters even the longest and toughest descents. The proven suspension uses a Flexstay design with an adjustable rocker link, ensuring the geometry remains consistent whether you opt for a pure 29er (162 mm travel) or a mullet setup (29/27.5") with 171 mm travel.

The seat angle is extremely steep at 79°, ensuring a climbing-friendly ride, while the flat head angle of 64° and the 170-mm suspension fork are ideal for demanding downhill trails. The Merida AGILOMETER sizing system allows riders to choose a frame with a longer or shorter reach regardless of their body size, while the suspension becomes more progressive as the frame size increases. Merida combines all of this with long-travel dropper seatposts. The WIRE PORT cable routing and the reliable threaded bottom bracket round out the package. The carbon frames also feature an integrated tool compartment and a magnetic FidLock bottle cage.
