Ultra Smooth Under Load. The RD-M7200 mechanical rear derailleur is based on the model from the Deore XT series. It features the same technologies but uses a steel derailleur cage to further enhance the durability of its already robust construction. The wide-link design provides additional strength, while the wedge shape protects against impacts on the trail by deflecting them, thereby preventing the derailleur from getting caught on obstacles.

Designed for HyperGlide+ drivetrain systems to ensure reliable and fast shifting, even under load.

Shadow ES | This construction is characterized by a low profile, which reduces the forward-facing surface of the rear derailleur. As a result, the rear derailleur features no protruding edges that could get caught on stones or roots.
