Gelu R1 Carbon Saddle

The R model represents a turning point for Gelu saddles, both aesthetically and structurally, as well as functionally.

With a weight between 43 g and 53 g, the R model is one of the lightest Gelu saddles, yet it features a number of details that set it apart from the other models: The rails are significantly longer and thicker, allowing for a wider range of adjustment, and they extend in one piece beneath the front tip of the saddle, making the saddle break-resistant. The front tip is slightly shorter and significantly sturdier; the central opening features a new “drop” design and is reinforced all around with a rounded carbon profile, which gives the saddle high strength and works in conjunction with the “Drop-Stop” system. The holes in the saddle are not located directly on the surface but are set in specially designed “recesses” to give the saddle high strength while also providing a more elegant appearance. A horizontal “blade” has been placed between the rear saddle flaps, providing the saddle with high stability. Compact and ergonomic, this model adapts effortlessly to any skeletal structure. The central opening was specifically designed to completely eliminate any pressure in the prostate area. Orthopedically certified!
