Nano CS Road 35 – Weight First

The Nano Road wheel lineup from Tune includes various models, each tailored to a specific performance goal. The difference lies in the rim shape which varies in height and, in some cases, in cross-section, to ensure the best possible alignment with the respective intended use. Common to all versions are lightweight and stiff carbon rims with a hook profile, which is designed to offer both additional safety and the greatest possible tire compatibility. The CS models also use aerodynamically shaped carbon spokes to connect the corresponding Nano CS hubs to the rims.

The version with a profile height of 35 mm is at home on climbs as well as on fast all-road rides and is designed primarily for riders whose main focus is on the lightest setup in the series. The result is a wheelset that weighs just 1,180 grams and a bicycle that is fast, responsive and easy to handle. For maximum stiffness, asymmetrical rims are used on both the front and rear wheel of the 35 mm model.

The inner width of all rims in the Nano Road wheel series is 24 mm, suitable for tire widths ranging from 28 to 45 mm, though optimized for road tires between 28 and 30 mm wide. The Nano CS hubs were specifically developed for wheel systems with carbon spokes. A straight alignment of the spokes toward the rim is the prerequisite for precise and efficient wheel building. The rear hub of the Nano CS Road wheels is equipped with the proprietary POEtry freewheel which features 69 engagement points (“Points Of Engagement”). All wheelsets in the Nano CS Road series comply with the regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI) (Union Cycliste Internationale).

The material of these precision bearings is so durable that, in the unlikely event that grit should ever get inside, it actually polishes the bearing raceways even smoother.

Warranty | Tune offers a 10-year warranty on the rims, hub bodies, axles and end caps. A lifetime warranty is provided for XD-15 ceramic-hybrid ball bearings. Wear parts are not covered by the warranty.
