A Strata version of SMITH’s Defy sunglasses in the color “Sandstone” with subtle accents in “Purple Jade” and “Blue Opal”-the earthy color palette of the Capsule collection, brought to life in a best-selling silhouette. At the heart of the Defy are large ChromaPop™ lenses that enhance natural colors and contrasts. They cut through flat light, make terrain details stand out more clearly at high speeds, and reveal the subtle surface changes that are especially important when riding on gravel.

The lightweight, rimless design ensures unrestricted vision, while the cylindrical shield curvature with a 5-base curve envelops the peripheral field of view, offering complete coverage without adding extra weight. Two-position adjustable Megol nose pads and Megol temple tips keep the frame securely in place even during strenuous rides and descents. AutoLock hinges allow for one-handed on-and-off use, and an additional clear lens with a quick-change system adapts from dawn to dusk—from open trails to singletrack in the woods.
