Optimize Chain Tool

Probably the first and last chain tool you'll ever need.

Made from the finest stainless steel on a 5-axis CNC milling machine, then brushed to a matte finish for durability. The mandrel is made of hardened steel, has a matte nickel finish, and is replaceable. The riveter features an M12 fine-pitch thread with a 1.0 pitch and an adjustable metal clamp to secure the chain in the riveter. Thanks to the very shallow fine-pitch thread and the large rotary knob, the chain can be riveted effortlessly.

The chain tool is compatible with standard systems from SRAM, Shimano, Campagnolo, Connex, KMC, and YBN. Suitable for modern 10- to 13-speed chains.

Important Care Instructions:

• The thread should be cleaned regularly with a microfiber cloth and re-greased; we recommend Bettbahn oil. 
• Store in a dry, warm place. 
• Adjust the L-shaped plate to the appropriate chain width using a T-8 key and then carefully tighten it again. 
• Make absolutely sure that the mandrel does not touch the L-shaped plate; this should not be the case with 10- to 13-speed chains. 
• Place the chain in the riveter and make absolutely sure that the riveter hits the center of the rivet and can press it out cleanly.
