Active Debris Remover (ADR)—intelligent protection for maximum durability

A high-performance derailleur pulley can only operate efficiently over the long term if its bearings are reliably protected. This is exactly where the patented Active Debris Remover (ADR) comes in. ADR combines several specially developed design elements into an effective protection system that significantly hinders the entry of dirt and debris into the bearing.

Dirt stays out

A specially designed dust cover fits securely into a precisely machined groove in the pulley and encloses the bearing. This protection is complemented by a lamellar groove structure that actively directs dirt particles away from the pulley during rotation. The result: The bearing is reliably protected from external influences—ensuring smooth running, consistent performance, and a long service life.

At the same time, the closed design prevents foreign objects from becoming lodged between the individual spokes of the pulley wheel.
