Shimano also only uses bearings with angled ball races for the WH-RX010 wheels. These have the advantage of being able to withstand lateral forces. The asymmetrical rim increases the load-bearing capacity of the rear wheel and allows the drive-side spokes to be positioned less steeply, thus ensuring a more even preload of the spokes. This makes the wheel even more stable.
