Innovative, nimble - race ready! After the cyclocross bike got rid of its front derailleur last year, this system is now also coming to the road bike. The chainring moves to the position that would be between the two chainrings, which reduces the skewing of the chain and makes all gears usable without any problems. An oversized cassette retains the full range of the drivetrain and the combination of X-Sync chainring and Roller Bearing Clutch derailleur damping offers full control over the chain. Hydraulic disc brakes decelerate brilliantly and protect the elegant wheelset.

The SRAM Rival 1 Type 3 rear derailleur has all the technologies that also make up the SRAM 1X MTB rear derailleur, the fastest and quietest 1x11 drivetrain. SRAM's unique ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ system reduces chain slap even more effectively thanks to a revised cage pin.
