Customer Reviews
great heavy duty kickstand
Heavy duty kickstand. Designed for 40 kg. Bought 6 months ago.

I also had to purchase stand plate because bike did not come with a kickstand platform at intersection of chain stays and seat tube.

I needed a two-footed stand to stabilize the bike with loaded panniers. I use the panniers for grocery shopping so carry a ton of food.

I also intend to use stand for cycle touring with panniers. You might not find a wall to lean bike against.

By the way, do not overtighten. Some people have reported crushing their chain stays from tightening kickstands. Kickstand may twist around but it is easy to recentre.

I created a gasket to protect paint job on chain stays by encasing metal counterplate (goes on top) in a piece of old tube.
