The Mallet Downhill Pedal has improved bearing technology and optimized shoe pedal interfaces!!! The latest generation Mallet DH/Race pedals feature Igus LL plain bearings on the inside and Enduro cartridge bearings on the outside. This allows for smoother pedal rotation, better protection from debris, and therefore lasts much longer.

Features of the Crankbrothers Mallet Downhill Pedal:

• concave platform made of forged and CNC-machined aluminum for a secure grip
• integrated traction pad technology for individual adjustment and optimization of the interface between shoe and pedal
• 8 adjustable pins per side for optimal grip
• release angle: 15° or 20
• ribbed body for better traction when shoe is not strapped on
• wide 57mm Q-factor for stability at high speed
• bevelled edges to reduce stone chipping
• Hex alloy end cap for durability

The new modified shape is even more open and thus reduces the weight and the attack surface for dirt and grime. 8 replaceable, adjustable screw pins per tread provide the best grip even when unclicked. The revised, 5 mm longer axle is 50% more durable than the original and the new seal construction ensures a long service life. An Igus LL plain bearing is used on the inside of the pedals, while the outside remains rotatable without play thanks to an Enduro cartridge bearing.
The finish of the pedals and the size of the platform create a truly monumental impression and are ready for all downhill courses on this earth!
