MT Trail Sport - The entry into 100% trail performance

With the new MT Trail Sport, Magura is expanding the MT family and the successful MT Trail concept - four pistons at the front, two pistons at the rear. Now that the 4/2 piston concept of the MT Trail Carbon has proven its worth, particularly for the All-Mountain Enduro classes and the rapidly growing E-Mountainbikes, the MT Trail Sport is intended to make the system more accessible by offering an attractive price-performance ratio.

The four pistons at the front ensure maximum braking power, while the two pistons at the rear are intended to guarantee perfect modulation. The ergonomics of the shorter HC lever, meanwhile, allow full braking power with just one finger.

MT Trail Sport technologies

Carbotecture®: A mixture of high-tech polymers and carbon or glass fibers is transformed into a plastic granulate in several complex processes. During the manufacturing process from this granulate to the finished component, the carbon fibers are optimally aligned to the load requirements. With this Carboflow process, any desired shape can be created from the granulate by injection molding. Compared to the classic lightweight material aluminum, Carbotecture® offers significant advantages: With identical tensile and breaking strength to aluminum, Carbotecture® is 50% lighter, so it weighs only half as much.

magnetiXchange: magnetiXchange brake pads are quick and easy to change. Magnetic pistons guarantee a perfect fit of the brake pad in the brake calliper and very easy pad changes.

EBT | Easy Bleed Technology: For quick and easy bleeding.

Shift Mix (optional): With the help of the optional Magura Shift Mix lever clamps, Shimano (Shiftmix 1 + 2 / I-Spec I + II) and SRAM (Shiftmix 3 / X9, X0, XX) triggers can be mounted directly on the brake lever, making for a tidy cockpit.

Remote Mix (optional): For an ergonomically optimized cockpit, the Magura Remote Mix lever clamp offers the option of mounting the RCL² remote control of Magura suspension forks directly on the brake lever. Installation is possible on both sides.

• The brake is supplied ready filled and bled. Please note the maximum permissible brake disk diameter of your frame/fork.
• The brake is supplied without adapter and without brake disk, these parts are optionally available.
• The cable can easily be shortened to the required length.
