Shimano XTR Direct Mount Chainring 4-Arm for FC-M9100 / FC-M9120 - 2x12-speed

The Shimano XTR 2-speed chainrings are the right choice for those athletes who are looking for maximum gear range ensuring flexibility in unknown terrain. Thanks to the 38 to 28 teeth ratio the FC-M9100-2 and FC-M9120-B2 cranksets pair nicely with the 10-45T cassette what makes them to the optimum drivetrain for long racing distances and many steep climbs as well.

The especially for MTBs developed Dynamic Chain Engagement+ teeth profile ensures improved chain guidance and thus more even driving in rough terrain. Chainrings are direct mount for weight reduction and improved power transfer. It also makes it easy to switch out your rings when needed.

The large chainring with 38 teeth is available in 2 versions for standard and Boost chain line (48.8 / 51.8 mm). The small chainring with 28 teeth is attached to the large chainring by 4 chainring bolts (Y1RL98060, M8 x 9 mm, sold separately).

Shimano Dynamic Chain Engagement+

Dynamic Chain Engagement+ is a special gear teeth profile designed for use in 1-speed chainring configurations for XC, Enduro and Trail Riding. It gives more chain retention and smoother pedaling - even over bumpy terrain. Chain retention of any gear will reduce abrasion and worn out.
