Details of the Fizik Transiro Infinito R3 triathlon shoes
The mesh upper is highly breathable and at the same time effectively supportive, thanks to the PU lamination on the target areas, which ensures efficient transfer of all power to the pedals. The size adjustment via a twist lock allows a differentiated fit adjustment for the instep and forefoot area, the shape and volume of which can vary greatly depending on the athlete. The combination of Powerstrap and BOA dial is the ideal balance for an Olympic format: first a quick and secure Velcro fastener, then a fine-tunable adjustment for a precise fit. The size of the forefoot area can be controlled via the Infinito, a fit adjustment function. Infinito equalizes tension and also eliminates pressure points by using textile straps instead of plastic. This closure system works on a larger area of the upper of the shoe, pulling it inwards evenly from all directions to ensure a supportive and comfortable fit. The race-rigid R3 unidirectional full carbon outsole offers ultimate power transfer and has been modified with extra wide ventilation cut-outs that are even more breathable than those on the road model. To ease the transition, the instep powerstrap can be locked in the wide open position for quick and easy foot entry, while the heel features a rubberized loop to make it easier to put your shoes on before or after clipping into the pedals.
