Braking System

Hydraulic disc braking has been a standard feature of mountain bikes for many years - now it is conquering racing bikes. The RT8 hydraulic brakes developed by Magura, with their post-mount and flat-mount options, form the absolute spearhead of the technology and offer high braking power, fine metering and low weight. The hydraulic lines can be laid much narrower than traditional wire rope hoists. The fine dosage of manual force and the high braking power allow the driver to gain valuable seconds in curves and on downhill runs and leave the good feeling of being in command at all times - even in extreme situations. As an alternative to the disc brake, the UNO is also available in a version with hydraulic rim brake.
