Vision Metron 3-Spoke Carbon Front Wheel - Tubular - Centerlock - 12x100mm/QR - black
The first 3-spoke carbon wheel with disc brake hub for world-class time trial and triathlon competitions by FSA Vision.
The Metron 3-Spoke carbon front wheel has been developed due to extensive CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing. It features a 55 mm deep and 24.3 mm wide profile for tubular tires. The whole wheel is made of a balanced layering of UD and 3K carbon fibers. The Preload Reduction Assembly (P.R.A.) called system applies a preload to the hub bearings via threaded clamps. It provides a bearing adjustment without dismounting. Furthermore the PRA hub features a Centerlock brake disc mount.
Furthermore the hub is equipped with two valuable ceramic bearings mounted on a 17 mm axle, which will guarantee long durability, high resistance to vibration and a low noise generation. This hand laminated wheel set is perfectly suited for triathlon and time trial.
The Metron 3-spoke Includes a QR-93 quick release with aluminium lever and stainless steel shaft.
