Shift Differently, Shift Better, Super Record 12-speed goes electronic!
Campagnolo Super Record EPS, the feather in the cap of Campagnolo® innovation thanks to the technologies, materials and expertise behind the design of this groupset, consolidates its benchmark role by moving up to a 12-speed.
Leading the way for 8, 9, 10, and 11 speeds and, more recently, 12 speeds, Campagnolo has always been a pioneer in innovation for racing bike transmission. The recently introduced Super Record and Record mechanical drivetrains marked not only a new era in the technology of the mechanical groupset, but also made the way for what was to become the electronic version of the Super Record 12-speed groupset. EPS technology was tested on the field by cyclists and before its launch on the market, it was subjected to the usual testing by the Campy Tech Lab in the most demanding lab in the world: the World Tour.
Super Record EPS Ergopower
The shape of the updated brake lever with its new 12-speed design is the result of painstaking studies carried out in the Campy Tech Lab to ensure that, together with positioning of the downshift lever, the cyclist has an intuitive, practical, comfortable "control center". The new Ergopower control can be adjusted to fit hands of different sizes.
Multishifting technology, namely the option to change several sprockets with in a single shift is now applied to all the 12-speed cassettes. Cyclists can use the MyCampy app to personalize the Super Record EPS groupset. The Ergopower control also offers the cyclist total control over how the transmission works thanks to the MODE button (found immediately behind the downshift lever on both right and left-hand controls). Note: For performance, longevity and functionality the EPS drivetrain must be used with the mechanical Campagnolo 12-speed EPS drivetrain components. Only suited for frames, that are designed for inner cable routing.
The Campagnolo EPS electronic drivetrain complies with IP67 international standards. This means that the system is able to protect its electronic components from dust and liquid infiltration.
