The faster, steeper and gnarlier it gets, the more you become aware of the TRIAir rear shock. SR Suntour put together all the feedback from their riders and created an efficient and reliable package.
Adding spacers:
Adding air volume spacers creates a more progressive feel for your rear shock. A more progressive feel prevents rough bottom outs and keeps the damper from sitting low in the suspension travel.
Removing spacers:
The removal of air volume spacers creates a stronger linear feeling in your rear shock. A linear feel makes it easier to use the full travel of the shock. If you cannot reach the full travel or the shock becomes very hard towards the end of the stroke, removing the air volume spacers will help.
