With this ultimate solution from Garbaruk you can now use a 12-speed Shimano drivetrain with the conventional Shimano HG freewheel - without Micro Spline, which can mean replacing the entire wheelset. This solution with a small compromise (no smallest 10Z sprocket) allows you to get incredible performance and reliability from your gears without having to lighten your wallet and sacrifice your beloved bike wheels. This precision-engineered 1x12-speed MTB cassette, weighing only 320 grams, allows you to climb the highest and steepest mountains thanks to 473% Wide Range Bandwidth.

The smaller cassette pinions are made of very high quality, durable chromoly steel, the whole is rounded off by the largest pinion which is made of lightweight 7075-T651 aluminum. The Garbaruk cassette is ideal for all riders who are looking for an efficient way to increase the performance of their MTB or road / CX bike. A matching color lockring is included with the cassette.

Compatible with SRAM / Shimano MTB HG freewheels and Shimano / SRAM 1x12-speed gears.

To ensure proper shifting to the largest sprocket it is necessary to replace the original shift rollers of the drive with special ones from Garbaruk (optionally available).

Drive setups recommended for the Garbaruk MTB cassette:

Garbaruk recommends using the 12-speed Shimano compatible cassette for 1x12-speed SLX, XT and XTR derailleurs with long cage (SGS). However, if you want to use it with the SRAM 12-speed rear derailleur, such a setup will also work well. This 12-speed cassette is compatible with the Shimano HG+ 12-speed chain.
