MT7 Pro - The flagship of the Magura Performance series

Braking performance doesn't have to be heavy. Maximum braking power and stability in extreme use - that is the motto of the MT7. In tough enduro or downhill use, the additional braking power with 4 brake pistons and the fine modulation provide added safety. The tool-free adjustable brake levers and the adjustable braking point provide the necessary ergonomics to have the brake perfectly under control even in difficult terrain and on long descents.

Technologies of the Magura MT7 Pro

HCT - Hard Core Tech: Under the HCT program, which at MAGURA stands for Hard Core Tech and has its origins in MAGURA Powersport, MAGURA combines all developments and special detail improvements that are developed for racing or the highest demands. Now MAGURA is bringing HCT to the mountain bike.
The HC brake lever for MT disc brakes was specially developed to optimize ergonomic performance. The ergonomics of the shorter HC aluminum lever enable full braking power, safely with one finger. The feedback and experience of Danny MacAskill was also incorporated into the design and new ergonomics of the 12 mm shorter HC lever.
With the same weight as the standard 2-finger aluminum levers, the HC technology version noticeably improves ergonomic performance.

Carbotecture® SL:
Compared to Magura's conventional Carbotecture® material, a mixture of high-tech polymers and carbon or glass fibers, Carbotecture® SL incorporates medium-length carbon fibers instead of short ones in the polyamides to further increase resistance while reducing weight. Compared to the classic lightweight material aluminum, Carbotecture® SL offers significant advantages: It is just as tensile and break-resistant with more than 50 % less weight.

Weight Ratio Performance:
Magura brakes are characterized by high thermal stability, which is achieved through optimum weight distribution. Optimum use of material where it is needed.

magnetiXchange:
Quick and easy to change, these are the magnetiXchange brake pads. Magnetic pistons guarantee a perfect fit of the brake pad in the brake caliper and very easy pad changes.

Note:

The brake is supplied fully filled and bled. Please note the maximum permissible brake disk diameter of your frame/fork! The brake can be used universally for front and rear. The cable can easily be shortened to the required length! The brake is supplied without adapter and without brake disk, these parts are optionally available.
