A performance cycling shoe featuring a polyurethane-laminated mesh upper for improved ventilation, an ergonomic design that conforms to the foot’s anatomy, and an R4 carbon-reinforced nylon sole.
Advanced Construction
Behind the Overcurve R4 lies an advanced construction technique: a durable, polyurethane-laminated material is layered over a comfortable mesh to reduce energy loss and provide long-term support for the foot where it matters most.
Overcurve
The shoe closure is fast, reliable, and secure—thanks to the micro-adjustable BOA® rotary closure in the Overcurve design. The shoe’s Overcurve construction features an offset collar that wraps around the ankle joint and follows the natural alignment of the ankle’s two bony protrusions: the lateral and medial malleoli. The result is an asymmetrical shape in which the collar curves over the foot from the outside to the inside.
R4 Outsole
The moderately stiff R4 sole combines comfort and pedaling efficiency to create a true all-rounder. It features a flatter profile that has been structurally optimized with a 15% carbon fiber content. The R4 sole also offers efficient ventilation with internal channels for effective temperature regulation. Compared to the traditional layout, the cleat position is shifted slightly closer to the heel to increase pedaling efficiency and reduce stress on the knees—particularly well-suited for aggressive, forward-leaning aero positions.
