Details of the Fjällräven Kaipak Jacket

The Kaipak Jacket is perfect for hiking and equally for everyday wear. Fjällräven's durable G-1000 Eco material defies wind and short rain showers. The stretch inserts under the arms provide optimal freedom of movement. In addition, the jacket efficiently wicks away moisture to experience a dry feeling on intense trekking routes. Three zippered pockets and one inside pocket - perfect for everything that needs to be handy.

G-1000 - Perhaps the best outdoor material in the world.

With G-1000, you're ready for adventures in all climates, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric can withstand years of heavy use far off the beaten track. The fact that G-1000 is also adaptable to the weather probably makes it one of the best outdoor materials available.
G-1000 is made from a blend of polyester and cotton that has been waxed with a thin layer of Greenland Wax. The wax gives the material extra protection against dirt, wind and moisture and can easily be applied thicker or washed out as needed.
