The functionally best and lightest winter softshell jacket that Assos has ever produced. Developed for uncompromising all-season riders and professional athletes, this winter-proof jacket fits like a second skin and offers thermal protection, breathability and unconditional freedom of movement - for the ideal balance of your microclimate during full-throttle training sessions lasting several hours.
The development team's main aim is still to combine compact protective performance and breathability in perfect balance under the toughest winter conditions. Knowing that riders who perform at their best in cold winter weather need thinner insulation and additional breathability, the jacket is specifically equipped with a range of new textiles and functions in the relevant areas of the body to dissipate excess body heat and regulate the temperature of your core in all winter weather conditions.
Features of the Assos DYORA RS winter cycling jacket for women
- The front and upper back are made of three-layer, wind- and waterproof SPHERE Light textile and a second layer of OSMOS Light fleece lining. The lower back, on the other hand, is made from Assos' OSMOS Heavy, the best brushed material in terms of heat retention, while the arms are gently wrapped in a three-layer ZigZaggy Foam jersey. The foam locks out strong winds and traps heat.
- The twinDeck fabric design has been applied to the front and upper back to lock out the cold, create an insulating layer of air between the layers and make the jacket highly breathable at the same time. To prevent you from getting too hot, diffuser "valves" have been incorporated at the shoulders to draw air from outside between the fabric layers of the jacket and act as ventilation. A model made for competitions without any frills: aerodynamic raceFit - can be seamlessly combined with base and mid layers.
- Diffusor: A sewing technique unique to ASSOS creates two "valves" at the front of the shoulders that allow cool air to flow in and out for additional ventilation.
- Double-Slider Zipper: A sealed zipper with an open/close lock and an anchor for stabilization for easy, one-handed operation while riding. Easily adapt to the prevailing conditions thanks to the ability to open the zipper from the bottom for added breathability.
- Triple Ramp Pockets: three fabric-covered pockets, easily accessible thanks to their ideal positioning, are color-coded and feature a micro-perforated sealed tape for increased visibility.
