The AIRSTREAM 2 is one of the brightest approved LED bike lights with integrated battery. In the new "Upside Down" version it is also possible to mount it below the handlebar. This extends the Airstream 2's range of use to bikes with handlebar stem units or aero/TT cockpits. Thanks to the waterproof and robust housing, the battery-powered front light is ready for any weather. The front light can be operated in 4 different light levels and offers a runtime of 2.5 - 14 hours. The matching AIRSTREAM TL 2 tail light (sold separately) can simply be connected to the front light.

Terraflux 4 lens

The TERRAFLUX lens was a milestone in Supernova's development and is now in its 4th generation. Hardly any other lens in this size produces such a bright and uniform illumination. Thanks to sophisticated light control, the TERRAFLUX lens puts 90% of the light where it is needed most: on the road. It forms a broad and uniform carpet of light that extends from the front wheel far into the horizon. The permanent daytime running light built into the lens ensures excellent visibility of other participants in traffic during the day. This light component is used for excellent ambient illumination at night and makes traffic signs or low-hanging branches visible.

Aluminum housing

Supernova uses aerospace aluminum for the housings because it is not only super strong but also has the best heat conduction properties. The better the cooling, the brighter the LED. In addition, the housings are anodized, salt water-resistant, and defy the most adverse conditions. Extreme tests in all seasons and climates by ultracycling athletes on the road with SUPERNOVA lighting prove their outstanding reliability and durability.

LED cooling

Supernova believes in high performance with the best possible efficiency. Cooling extends the service life significantly. The most important prerequisites for an ideal heat dissipation include a careful choice of material and sophisticated construction. For example, completely uninterrupted heat dissipation can only be obtained by a housing that is made seamlessly from a single piece of aluminum. In extreme situations, integrated heat sensors keep the headlight in an optimum temperature range. With extensive computer simulations, their engineers continue to find the most appropriate way to derive the heat from the LEDs. Their more than 20 years of experience with LED front lights comes into its own here.

Holder included

The Supernova handlebar mount is biaxially adjustable for perfect alignment and fits all handlebars and stems with a diameter of 25.4 to 31.8 mm. The bracket is fastened with UV-resistant Supernova rubber rings. When the handlebar mount is removed, the Airstream becomes a compact flashlight.
