Application of Proofide

Proofide is the only product that should be used to care for your Brooks leather saddle. It is specially formulated from natural ingredients to condition, preserve and rainproof your saddle. Apply a little of this leather saddle cream to the treated side of the leather. Let the cream soak in until dry, then buff it off. Also apply Proofide to the underside of the saddle, but leave this coating on the saddle to protect it from dirt and moisture.

Proofide should be used several times during the "break-in" period and periodically (3-6 months) thereafter. It is recommended to polish the saddle with a soft cloth before first use.
