EVO Long ZipTie Mudguard for mounting with cable ties.
The Mudhugger EVO Zip-Tie was introduced in 2021 and developed with the help of riders from the DH World Cup and EWS. It was designed based on the current FOX 36/38 and RockShox ZEB models to address the problem of collision between the fender and fork crown at full compression, which many other fenders have. It is also stiffer and offers more tire clearance than the original design. It is stable enough for DH use at the highest level. The length is optimized so that the fender is only as long as necessary to ensure the best protection, a slightly implied spoiler improves splash protection.
The Mudhugger Zip-Tie is compatible with most suspension forks, but in some cases requires minor modifications. For example, to mount the EVO on a Manitou Mezza or comparable models with reverse arch (bridge rear), four small holes must be drilled to allow attachment to the bridge. Although mounting with cable ties is ideal for permanent mounting, it is also possible to mount the fender by means of a, optionally available Velcro fitting kit to be able to mount / dismount it easily. This also saves a little bit of plastic waste.

Please note:
- Minimum fork pre-bend (offset) for all EVO mudguards: 44 mm.
