Shimano K05S disc brake pads made of resin and equipped with steel base plates. 50 % more wear resistant than its predecessor K03S. Recommended for XTR, Dura Ace, Ultegra, 105, Tiagra, GRX and Metrea disc brake calipers.

General informations:

Resin brake pads are quieter than metal pads, but offer slightly lower performance and have higher wear. Metal pads have a longer service life than pads made of synthetic resin, are more fade-resistant and offer consistent deceleration in dry and wet conditions. Metal brake pads may generate noise during braking.
