ION Bike Protection K-Pact AMP HD Knee Guards - Black

The K-Pact Amp HD is the evolution of ION's award-winning classic for progressive downhill and freeride mountain biking.

The protection area extends beyond the knee to the upper shin. ION's proprietary SAS-TEC Pad K-L2 Long (EN 1621-1:2012 / L2) absorbs hard falls and does so multiple times without needing to be replaced. Power_Slide caps improve the sliding ability in case of falls, so that the knee pads stay in place.

Lightweight, breathable padding provides additional protection against side impacts. Angled fit on the back ends over the calf muscle for improved circulation. The perfect fit can be further optimized by the Ergo_Strap on the back. Thus, the individual fit can be adjusted for everyone.

• Power_Aramid upper material on kneecap: Power_Aramid is a synthetic fiber that was originally developed by DuPont. In the meantime it finds versatile application, e.g. in bullet-proof helmets, tires and bowstrings. The material offers outstanding qualities in terms of tear and abrasion resistance. And is thus perfectly suited for protectors.

• Ergo_Strap: Thanks to its placement above the calf, the Velcro closure adapts to the anatomical shape of the knee area and can be individually adjusted for a perfect fit.

• Side Lightweight EVA Padding: Closed cell foam provides lightweight and flexible protection where you need it.
