The Decos perfectly embodies fizik’s famous minimalist design. For these shoes, fizik has focused on the essentials to deliver the pure road bike experience you expect from fizik—from epic mountain stages to granfondos and beyond.
Simply supportive
The sleek upper is made of a durable, polyurethane-laminated material overlaid with a comfortable mesh. This reduces stretching and provides long-lasting support exactly where it’s needed most. The fit is practical and can be adjusted quickly and precisely thanks to a single bidirectional BOA® rotary closure.
R3 Outsole
The Tempo Deco Carbon also features the R3 outsole, which saves weight with a revised carbon fiber construction and design without sacrificing stiffness. With an index of 10, the R3 is a very stiff outsole for optimal power transfer. Two wide ventilation openings and deep internal channels provide cooling airflow and support temperature management. In line with current bike-fitting trends, the R3 outsole offers a rearward cleat positioning—like all current Fizik models—to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee strain, making it particularly suitable for very aggressive, forward-leaning aero positions.
