The Q36.5 Gregarius Essential cycling shorts are bib shorts suitable for everyday use on rides of all lengths and intensities. They are designed with a minimum of seams and panels to reduce pressure points and the potential for unwanted chafing. The result is a 3-season cycling short that you can wear on long rides and high intensity training.
The Gregarius Essential cycling shorts are made from recycled yarns that contain recycled polyamide as well as recycled elastane. They offer a comfortable fit that supports the muscles without constricting. The laser-cut leg hem provides additional comfort by holding the leg cuff in place without the use of silicone. This prevents pressure points on the thigh. The bib straps are lightweight and breathable while still providing excellent support.
To improve the interface between the saddle and seat pad, Q36.5 uses a specially developed structure that eliminates the central seam that normally causes pressure and discomfort when sitting. The structure is modeled on the contact surface of the saddle and is made of a molded material that adapts naturally to different saddle typologies. To increase comfort in the pelvic area, a tension-free cut allows greater freedom of movement and prevents pressure points.
The seat pad uses a new three-dimensional Super Molded construction that adapts better to the anatomy of the human body and offers more comfort while riding. The foam padding has been calibrated according to the scheme of variable densities and thicknesses in the perineal, sciatic, genital and gluteal zones, resulting in an extremely advanced tuning of overall comfort. The seat pad is molded using a unique technique that creates gentle variations in the thickness of the padding and significantly improves contact with the athlete's skin.
