Restrap Bumper Bar - Spacer - black - 1-1/8"

The Bumper Bar is a unique accessory that fulfills several functions: It serves as a fixed point for mounting lights and also acts as a spacer for our range of handlebar bags, pushing them up and away from the front wheel. This is ideal for smaller bikes with a low stack height or where the distance between handlebar and tire is limited.

Details

Made from high-strength steel with a durable powder-coated finish, the Bumper Bar features a front grille and 30 mm slots on the top and bottom that work seamlessly with the retaining straps on our handlebar bags. Also included are 5mm diameter holes at the top and bottom for additional mounting options.

The front is curved to allow mounting of most lights, with the position at the front of the steerer ideal for forward visibility. The bumper bar acts as a 3mm spacer for the headset and is available for all 1-1/8" or 1-1/4" steerer tubes.

Recommended maximum load:

2.5 kg on the bumper bar with retaining straps around the head tube.
0.5 kg mounted directly on the bumper bar.
