d30 is an intelligent material whose molecules are free to move, but at the moment of impact or shock, they bond together to absorb the impact energy. d30 does not harden in the event of an impact, instead the molecules are like a net that distributes the impacting forces over a larger area. Immediately after impact, the base material regains its original flexibility. Thus, d30 material is very flexible during slow movements and absorbent during "high-speed" impacts.
