Technologies of the Kenda Valkyrie Pro

R3C Compound

Kenda's fastest rubber compound. It is used exclusively for high-end tires. With significantly lower rolling resistance and increased wet weather traction, the R3C compound is the successor to the R2C rubber.

K-Armor

K-Armor is a technology developed by Kenda that offers excellent puncture protection and rolling resistance. The super-lightweight material is more tightly woven than conventional puncture protection fabrics and is lighter overall. In addition, the manufacturing properties in production are better than those of existing materials, resulting in structurally stronger tires. The K-Armor fabric also contributes to the incredibly low rolling resistance values found on the road tire on which it was introduced, the Valkyrie Pro, as well as other tires using this material.
