Stylistically, the Super Record Wireless shifters remain true to Campagnolo's design language, but can also boast more efficient and effective ergonomics. The shape of the grip body has been revised to offer more comfort and safety when gripping high. But the brake lever has also been redesigned and is now easier to reach when gripping low. In addition, the position of the brake lever is adjustable for perfect adaptation to the rider's needs and to all handlebar types and hand sizes.

The positioning of the shift buttons on the brake lever also benefits comfortable accessibility, regardless of the hand position. The buttons themselves convince with an optimal balance between actuation force and tactile feedback for easier perception of any force application. The control of the front and rear derailleurs can also be customized as desired with the help of the MyCampy 3.0 app which also provides precise information about the charge status.

While the absence of cables and wires makes installation and maintenance much easier, a sophisticated firmware that controls the entire electronics of the component ensures an incredibly long battery life of up to 2 years. On the inside of the handle there is a hidden but easily accessible button to switch off the shifter as well as an LED to signal when battery replacement is necessary.

Campagnolo Super Record disc brake caliper

The brake callipers for the Campagnolo Super Record Wireless groupset stand out for their powerful and modular braking performance in any situation. This is not only ensured by an excellent thermal insulation, but above all by the pistons made of phenolic resin and with a diameter of 22 mm. While a special metal plate between the pad and the caliper piston dampens vibrations during braking, the brake pad return has been optimized so that there is no friction when the brake lever is released.

However, special attention in the design of the Flatmount brake calipers was not only paid to a high performance level, but also to facilitating maintenance and installation work. The brake pads are equipped with a wear indicator and their replacement is facilitated by the absence of return springs. Their rounded shape also facilitates the installation of the brake disc and a correspondingly quick wheel change.
