Plenty of Flare is a typical feature of modern Gravel bike handlebars. The ergonomics of the GRX ST-RX820 brake lever have been optimized and specifically adapted to flared handlebars. While the grip design reduces pressure on the palm, the textured, non-slip surface of the brake lever blade improves handling on uneven terrain. A tiny innovation in the cockpit for maximum gain in comfort and control. With these prerequisites, the ergonomic brake lever is perfectly suited for long-distance use or full- or multi-day tours in mixed terrain.

The brake lever, which has been optimized for 1-speed drivetrain systems, not only offers maximum comfort, but is also characterized by particularly good dosage in terms of deceleration, thanks to the proven SERVO WAVE technology. However, the highlight of the "LA" version, is the integrated remote control for operating a dropper seatpost. Adjustable in reach and free stroke.

SERVO WAVE | Because the brake lever absorbs a lot of brake travel right at the beginning of its movement, the brake pads come into contact with the brake disc more quickly and more lever travel remains for modulating the braking force. Accordingly, SERVOWAVE brake systems are characterized by faster response, higher performance and shorter idle travel.
